Carla has been working in the field of leadership development since 2006 and has worked in multiple industries as an executive coach, consultant and team facilitator. She has taught at IMD and INSEAD Business Schools where she co-directed executive development programmes focusing on leadership in sustainability and has held management positions in Getty Images, London and at the World Wildlife Fund, Switzerland.
Carla holds a master’s degree in Management Learning and Leadership, is certified coach and has completed trainings in various psychometrics (LSI, INSIGHTS, NEO PI-R). She sees coaching an opportunity to become more aware of the shadow we cast as leaders and how to choose the impact and legacy that we want to leave. Leadership today is too important to be left to unchecked habits and unintended consequences, coaching can enable us to see our blind spots, to create clarity in our direction and to ground us in what we really care about.
Originally from the United Kingdom, Carla has lived in Switzerland and Spain and travelled extensively but returned to her home in the South West of England where she now lives with her husband and 2 children. She was elected as an Independent (free from party politics) Town Councillor in 2022 and enjoys working with her local community to make the town an equitable and inclusive place to live.
